Job Description

CLC is in a unique situation seeking to add a Systems Administrator to our IT Team.  We are able to look at a broad range of experience and skills ranging from a newer Systems Admin to a more experienced individual.  This creates flexibility as we interview and determine skills.  It will also determine pay range offered - starting pay would be $66,700 and the top of the range for a highly skilled Systems Admin would be $124,000.    

The Basics of the Role:

Under general supervision, maintains, upgrades, and manages software, hardware, and networks. Ensures the technology infrastructure runs smoothly, efficiently, and securely. Depending upon experience the system administrators are responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting the company’s computer and data systems. The System administrator will collaborate closely with a team to maintain systems and oversee various aspects of IT including network, operating systems, business applications, security tools, virtual environments, servers, email, telephone system, laptops, and desktop PCs. Responsible for troubleshooting (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion. Performs a variety of project tasks and requires excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with users diplomatically and skillfully

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • BA/BS Degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in MCSE, NET+, security+ preferred.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in systems administration or network administration.
  • Experience with scripting is a plus.
  • Strong background with network troubleshooting is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Operating systems 2016, 2019 and Office 365 with AD integration.
  • Experience with desktop and end user troubleshooting
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, automation, and hardening.
  • The ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with switches preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well as part of a team.
  • Must possess an MVR in good standing in the state of operation, with reliable transportation
