Master Automotive Technician

Job Overview:

We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are self motivated and have a positive attitude. Technicians who thrive here are ambitious, have strong diagnostic skills, enjoy working on a variety of vehicles, career oriented, and enjoy flagging hours.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix all types of makes and model vehicles for our guest
  • Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of diesel, domestic and foreign vehicles
  • Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
  • Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
  • Utilize technology to maximize tech hours as well as bay efficiency 
  • Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate  concerns 
  • Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest.
  • Self motivated - Wants to maximize flagged hours each week and a desire to grow in your profession.
  • 5+ years of experience as an automotive MAIN LINE & DIAGNOSING technician/mechanic
  • Master A- Level Technicians preferred
  • ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
  • Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of vehicles.
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
  • Professional appearance and strong communication.
  • A desire for long-term career development.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
  • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
  • Drive manual transmissions vehicles
  • Efficiently navigate a computer
