Job Overview:

As a C-Level / General Service Technician with Christian Brothers Automotive, you leverage your motivation and strong work ethic to perform high-quality inspections and general service maintenance.   Your successful performance will open doors to our best-in-class training opportunities, and ultimately lead to future personal and financial growth as a Master Technician.  You are critical to building trusting relationships with our guests through consistent and superior quality work.

We are looking for technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform all maintenance and basic repair services including but not limited to; oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension parts, alignments, brakes, and more
• Ensure quality of work, attitude and performance exceeds customer expectations
• Complete full, accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
• Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate
• Assist in all house-keeping efforts, promoting our high standards of cleanliness
• Ensure we greet every guest with our “Love Your Neighbor As Yourself” level of respect

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and interest
• Strong desire to learn
• Industry experience is a plus
• ASE Certifications helpful, and open to a plan to achieve
• Proficiency in Windows-based computers
• Current driver’s license and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
• Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
• Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
• Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
• Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
• Drive manual transmission vehicles
• Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
• Efficiently navigate a computer
