Job Description

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Your role is a critical member of the Marketing Coaching team, which is responsible for working side-by-side with Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) franchisees to drive leads to, and build awareness for, their CBA stores. As a Local Marketing Specialist, you will support a portfolio of Christian Brothers’ franchisees in various markets by providing current best practices, consultation and assistance with marketing, advertising and promotional activities. This role will have you on the phone (eventually some travel), building and maintaining relationships with our franchisees. We are looking for a fun, hardworking, positive person with energy, enthusiasm and integrity, who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Each member of the Marketing Coaching team acts as a “consultant”: planning and executing local marketing strategies, aiding in achieving annual goals for reaching guests and for franchisee interaction, and introducing new marketing opportunities to franchisees. Our business is built on the foundation of loving your neighbor as yourself and a key function of this role is ensuring that the Marketing Coaching team is showing servant leadership to our franchisees.

Your responsibilities supporting our franchisees include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead growth initiatives by building relationships with our franchisees, providing locations with relevant marketing materials and ensuring accountability to national brand standards
  • Develop localized, strategic franchisee marketing plans
  • Support on-time delivery of franchisee marketing requests including strategy, creative, and messaging
  • Deliver marketing data and campaign analysis for franchises to measure ROI and understand impact
  • Travel as needed to identify new opportunities and meet personally with franchisees
  • Train franchisees on local marketing best practices, including digital marketing, direct mail, PR, grassroots, email marketing, etc.

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience Minimum Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing and/or equivalent years of relevant work experience

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing strategy or field marketing experience
  • Experience in franchise marketing, advertising agency, media account management or client services is strongly preferred
  • Well versed in developing and executing local and regional plans
  • Solid understanding of general marketing best practices including traditional advertising, digital marketing, direct mail, and grassroots marketing
  • Prior experience analyzing and optimizing marketing initiatives to drive customer leads

Additional Information

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position requires multitasking while maintaining a high degree of both responsiveness and accuracy. This position will require spending the majority of the workday using a computer.

When considering the work environment associated with this job, the following factors may apply:

  • The office traditionally observes a work from office schedule, however all team members are currently working from home until further notice.
  • Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions
  • Some amount of local and/or multiple location traveling required
  • Standard business dress is required from time-to-time; neat and appropriate attire is always required 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

  • There will be instances when work outside if traditional business hours is required.
  • Some work from home privileges are available so long as job responsibilities are being fulfilled, and are subject to approval by the Director of Local and Regional Marketing.
  • Just as reliable transportation to and from the office is expected from an employee, the ability to access internet and phone connectivity is expected to maintain work from home privileges.

Travel: Minimal travel is expected for this position.
