Job Description

The Video Producer tells compelling stories through video and editing. Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) has an incredible culture, with exceptional stories that need to be told. CBA also has important internal messaging that needs to be facilitated in video form. This position will assist the Executive Producer in producing both internal and external content for CBA.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

●      Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for both internal communications and customer facing initiatives including: internal company announcement videos, convention videos, customer stories,  external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects

●      Manage a variety of tasks to assist the Executive Producer with scheduling video shoots including, but not limited to: location scouting and site selection

●      Make recommendations for project resources

●      Work independently, as well as part of The CBA Studio to establish project deliverables

●      Collaborate closely with team members to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content

●      Assist video shoots

●      Communicate production needs and schedule

●      Ability to record and edit video and sound projects by capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media

●      Interview people of various backgrounds that establishes trust while telling a story

●      Edit projects when, not shooting, as part of the editing team

●      Additional tasks and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

●      Bachelor degree in Film, Video Projection, Broadcasting or equivalent years of relevant work experience

Experience/Minimum Requirments:

●      Minimum of 3-5 years of professional video production experience

●      Proven creative and critical thinking (problem-solving) skills that leverage both quantitative data analytics and qualitative design and tools

●      Collaborative and proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead projects

●      Expertise in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and other media production software

●      Excellence in professional video gear (Sony cameras, drones, lighting systems, field audio recording systems)

●      Audio includes small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing

●      Post-production entails digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms

●      Stellar written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and an aptitude for making quick, quality decisions

●      Must be highly detail-oriented and self-motivated

●      Excellent organization and time management skills

●      Ability to multitask

●      Professional demeanor, yet great sense of humor

Work Environment

●      Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions

●      Limited amount of local and/or multiple location traveling required

●      Standard business dress is required from time-to-time; neat and appropriate attire is always required 

●      Ability to travel to store locations or event spaces for convention video production

●      Standing and filming all day, when required, for specific video shoots
