Job Description

The Human Resources Administration Specialist is responsible for the administration management for the Chiquita employees in Europe. (S)he is also in charge of time management and onboarding.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administration:
    • Responsible of the daily maintenance and update of the HRIS to ensure accurate data at anytime
    • Management of filing and archiving of all employee’s documentation (Contract, personal data, insurances registration, etc)
    • Ensure that all payroll related data are correctly booked in the HRIS and on time
    • Follow up of the insurances in the EME region (registration, modification, termination)
    • Preparation of various documentation (offer letter, contract of employment, amendment, etc…)
    • Work in close collaboration with the payroll team on data harmonization project
    • Booking of invoices
  • Employee relation:
    • Act as a first point of contact (internally & externally) and problem solver for administrative issues
    • Prepare and follow up onboarding of new employees
  • Time Management:
    • In charge of the Time Recording system for Switzerland (maintenance of the software, correction of errors, checking of balance)
    • In charge of holidays balances follow up, checking and correction of mistakes, reviewing of legal requirements for the EME region
    • Responsible of recording any type of absences in our HRIS and ensuring accurate information are registered

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in HR/Administration or equivalent
  • Solid knowledge of HR administration
  • Proven work experience in Human Resources (5 years or more)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Workday
  • English and French written and spoken required; other language is a plus
