Job Description

We are looking for an all-rounder, resourceful and proactive person to help oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Chiquita Headquarters in Etoy under the supervision of the Executive Assistant.  The ideal candidate is a team-player, reliable, experienced with strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

  • Inspect the building on a daily basis to identify repairs and improvements needed
  • Report any technical faults, special cleaning, security offence and keep records for easy reference and follow-up
  • Ensure the premises and outside areas are kept clean, tidy, safe and secure at all times
  • Supervise cleaning team and accompany technicians during their intervention
  • Keep track of maintenance service dates
  • Monitor and manage stocks, placing orders adequately
  • Replenish coffee and printing corners as and when needed
  • Verify the proper functioning of all machinery & kitchen appliances
  • Be first point of contact in case of fire or security alarm
  • Move around furniture, boxes or other items
  • Deal with deliveries of goods
  • Responsible for the maintenance and service of company vehicles
  • Perform basic reception duties
  • Safely and timely pick-up/drop-off visitors, guests, etc... to and from various places
  • Run errands from time to time
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when required

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Valid Swiss work permit + Driver’s licence
  • Experience of working in a similar role (corporate background desirable)
  • Professional attitude and appearance 
  • French and English written and spoken required; Portuguese or Spanish would be a plus
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes
  • Ability to organise, prioritise work and use initiative when needed
  • Ability to work under supervision but also independently
  • Good basic DIY skills, be able to undertake routine repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Good computer skills
  • Punctual
  • Helpful and polite
