We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to be based in Etoy, Switzerland.

• Accurately control and process supplier invoices and expense reports in the ERP AP module
• Perform closing activities for AP, perform accounts reconciliation and liaise with accounting
• Understand invoice discrepancies and achieve resolution
• Prepare weekly and monthly payments
• Review internal and external financial records and reports, such as expense reports, vendor records for errors or potentially fraudulent activity or disbursement, and report to manager
• Provide requested data to external auditors
• Test and implement ERP finance module changes and update work instructions accordingly
• Contribute ideas and recommendations which lead to process improvements
• Cooperate with other team members in day-to-day processes and all Chiquita department

• Bachelor's Degree (or similar) in Finance/Accounting and at least two years of AP experience.
• Demonstration of experience in a fast-paced environment with competing, multiple priorities.
• Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, solution oriented.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Very effective organizational skills, hands-on mentality.
• Ability to manage stress and time constraints in a changing environment.
• Experience with ERP-system. Proficient level of MS office, especially Excel.
• Experience in working for a multinational company.
• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• English written and spoken required; other European language(s) are a plus, especially Greek.
