Job Description

Digital and Social Content Creation

  • Support the creation and implementation of all content needed for marketing campaigns and owned digital channels (website, social media channels, external campaigns) that reach our customers through all phases of the purchase funnel
  • Help manage various content production partners and agencies to create a variety of content through photo and video production
  • Manage copywriting and translation of content for local markets


Social Media Management:

  • Manage all of Chiquita's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tik Tok and LinkedIn)
  • Create and manage a content/editorial calendar in collaboration with central and global teams
  • Use social media platforms and tools to publish content and monitor social conversation
  • Manage social media giveaways and promotions
  • Support budget planning and allocation for all the paid posts and promotions
  • Support local campaigns in Chiquita’s core markets across the globe
  • Manage statements of work (SOW’s) for external vendors and partners
  • Identify opportunities that will promote growth on social media sites
  • Recommend and apply relevant social media techniques, processes and tools to improve overall results and efficiency
  • Prepare and share regular performance reports
  • Responsible for community management:
  • Monitor all social media channels on a daily basis and post/respond to particular topics or in response to other posts/comments;


Influencer Marketing

  • Responsible for managing influencer marketing platform
  • Identify potential influencers, and manage communication and SOWs
  • Responsible for tracking campaign performance, KPI's and reports


  • Agency or brand experience in digital and/or social media with a strong focus on campaign and content marketing
  • Strong understanding of social media channels and community management
  • Professional experience with a major digital platform (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube)
  • A strong visual eye. Basic photo editing skills preferred; Copywriting experience is a huge bonus. Great sense of humor.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; has the ability to tell a story from data 
  • Strong writing skills
  • Demonstrated project leadership and teamwork skills in cross-functional planning and execution
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with good time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of web/digital technologies and services
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point and Word; Some knowledge of basic features in Photoshop and Illustrator is a bonus.
