Children’s Therapy Center is seeking a part-time pediatric Physical Therapist to join our in-Clinic Center Based Team serving children ages 3-18 in our Tacoma Center Location! Our preferred candidate is experienced, with training in sensory processing and play-based therapy; NDT is a plus. (S)he will have a strong passion for helping children with special needs, and their families reach their full potential.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations using formal and informal assessment tools
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate goals
  • Maintain timely treatment records and progress reports
  • Consistently assess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Provide parent training and support as an integral part of the therapy program
  • Order orthotics, assistive devices, and/or adaptive equipment as necessary
  • Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary and collaborative team

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university
  • Dedicated to quality, with a willingness to learn and share
  • Experience working with children with developmental delay or disability preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Must have or obtain a PT license in the State of Washington

Schedule: 

This is a Part Time position, 12-16 hours per week, full-day Wednesday availability is preferred with flexibility, afternoons preferred to compliment the schedule the remainder of the week

Compensation & Benefits:

Children’s Therapy Center offers equitable and competitive pay commensurate with job-related experience and education. The pay rate range for this position is $35.98 - $56.82 dependent on related experience and education.
