We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer with a heavy focus on AR & 3D experience to join our team and help create one of a kind experiences using three.js and proprietary computer vision algorithms. You will have the opportunity to create experiences that will reach millions of users on our family of brands (Huffpost, TechCrunch, AOL, Yahoo, etc) and to create project partnerships with brands such as Google, Apple, Samsung, Unity, etc. 

Responsibilities

●      Develop and support high-quality, polished, and reliable frameworks and applications

●      Work closely with designers to implement features and functionality

●      Implement engaging tools for AR and VR experiences based on supervisor direction and client feedback

●      Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code

●      Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

●      Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems

●      Help maintain code quality, organization, automatization, and integration.

Minimum Qualifications

●      5+ years of professional JavaScript development

●      Demonstrable experience with three.js, A-Frame, Sumerian, Argon, AR.js or other AR implementations

●      Deep familiarity with AR and JavaScript, and a confidence in core abilities to implement and iterate with new frameworks

●      Experience coding with 3D models, textures and CG pipelines

●      Deep understanding of computer science and creative problem solving skills

●      An awareness for emerging relevant technologies and the ability to rapidly gain expertise and implement with them

●      Passion for making an impact with mobile technology

Preferred Qualifications

●      Expertise in three.js & working with the 8thwall SDK

●      Ability to architect and handle end to end delivery of a complex JavaScript project that involves AR technology

●      Experience packaging a codebase into a shareable/optimized/performant build.
