Financial services firm seeking a CISCO Engineer for its NYC office.
Firm specializes in flexible FIX-based equity order management systems and full front-to-back office integration and compliance reporting services.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the performance of the existing network, routers, switches and firewalls, both internal and customer facing.
- Provide day to day support to customer connectivity issues or new connectivity requests
- Maintain technical skills on Cisco routers and switches and Juniper firewalls
- Participate in engineering new solutions for networking or monitoring
- Installation and troubleshooting of new telecom circuit connectivity
- Maintaining the internal phone system and VPN connectivity.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience with CISCO / Juniper networks
- Experience with designing networks
- Cisco certification a plus
