Project  Description:

 

Current systems are in .Net Framework 1.5, all winform based and use citrix to hook in from other USA locations.

Want to upgrade architecture to latest .Net framework and server level layers (recommended application architecture practices, and can be either webforms or winforms, which ever makes sense.

 

Need someone that’s willing to stick out the full project (1 year+) and help lead them into the platform they need to be on. Personality and a jump in and get it done attitude is very important. Open minded and flexible, willing to listen to and evaluate others ideas…

 

Want to use a methodology where they can see phased progress throughout the project rather than one big conversion and implementation after a long period of time.

 

 

Day to Day Activities

  • Evaluate current environment and applications
  • Work with team to establish best practice environment that supports business needs
  • Create and manage project framework that identify scope, software requirements, resources, phased implementation stages, target dates and time lines.



Qualifications

Must Have Skills

  • .Net Development
  • WCF
  • Sql Server
  • Must be able to wear many hats
  • Personality and a jump in and get it done attitude is very important

 

Nice to have skills?

  • MVC – Big plus
  • TFS (Team Foundation Server) – Nice to have
