Job Description

This role will gather Checkpoint proprietary finished boards and assemble the materials into antenna shells to complete a finished good, which will be tested and repackaged for sale to business partners.

Job Duties

  • Receive materials from warehouse.
  • Unpack and stage materials.
  • Disassemble antenna shells and prep for materials.
  • Assemble 2 boards into antennas, securing connections and wiring.
  • Reassemble antenna.
  • Transfer antenna to testing area.
  • Initiate quality control testing to ensure antennas are working to predefined specifications.
  • Repackage antennas and ready for transfer to warehouse.
  • Must maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Must meet daily deadline for completed antenna assembly.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School or GED diploma.
  • Related Certifications a plus.

Experience

  • Three years related work experience.
  • On the job training provided.
  • Computer skills in MS Excel a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must be able to follow written, video and verbal instructions and diagrams.
  • Must have excellent vision.
  • Must be able to work with small hand tools; including but not limited to, screwdrivers (Philips and Flathead, manual and electric), pliers, plastic cutters, box cutters.
  • Must be able to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions as well as sitting, standing, twisting and bending.
  • Must be dexterous to handle and manipulate materials and parts.
  • Must possess basic data entry and computer skills.
