Job Description

The Supply Chain Temp/Intern is responsible for supporting the purchasing and supply chain team in the areas of logistics, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor management.   

Job Duties

  • Support vendor search & analysis to reduce single source supply
  • Analyze high dollar indirect spend items to identify savings
  • Support freight analytics (import and domestic shipping) to drive spend reduction
  • Document vendor SOPs
  • Pull data to support duty drawback filings
  • Assist in various supply chain projects to achieve cost reductions

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

  • Experience/Education in the areas of supply chain, purchasing, or sourcing
  • Ability to analyze different types of data

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Basic MS Office & SAP (or other ERP) knowledge preferred
  • Good communication & problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented to maintain inventory accuracy
