Job Description

Shipping/ Receiving Clerk is responsible for Shipping, Receiving and supporting Production.  This position is responsible for picking, packing, labeling and running orders in the warehouse.   

  • Interpret pick lists rapidly and accurately, find and pick parts accurately.
  • Builds shipment by packaging and labeling various groups of parts properly to ensure they are not damaged during shipping.
  • Processes shipment completely and stages for pick-up.
  • Follows proper inventory procedures and policies at all times.
  • Monitors and supports production with raw materials and moving finished products to proper location.
  • Assist in warehouse clean-up and re-configuring, as required.
  • Participates inventory as required and any other inventory counts.
  • Assist in the Hard Tag Department and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience

  • Two (2) years experience driving forklift

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Basic math aptitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail oriented to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Ability to safely operate forklift, following all safety rules
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently/
  • Team player who can work with others to perform day to day responsibilities.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
