Job Description

  • Trains new inspection personnel in Control Plan Usage and In-Process Inspection.
  • Performs in-process inspection hourly to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Performs general inspection duties as required.
  • Performs Warehouse Audits.
  • Responsible to keep Supervisors informed of quality issues.
  • Follow safety and manufacturing guidelines and rules.
  • Help cover breaks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • It is a requirement of this position that the employee be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to valid medical and religious exemptions.

Experience

  • Previous experience working in plastic manufacturing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment, where prolonged standing, walking may be required.  
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Team player who can work well with others, with minimal supervision.    
  • Attention to detail and able to visually see product defects.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Ability to use hand tools, gauges, and fixtures to perform inspection.
  • Ability to use laboratory equipment for inspection approval.
  • Knowledgeable in Control Chart usage and interpretation
  • Ability to use a CMM for Inspection.
  • Ability to use micrometers, gauges and test fixtures.
