Job Description

The role

Checkout.com is seeking a Sr Product Manager to join our Identity & Access Management team, based in our Berlin office. This team is responsible for enabling seamless and secure access for our customers to the Checkout Ecosystem. Members of the team have the unique opportunity to be involved and interface with teams across Checkout while also developing deep domain experience in the Onboarding space. We’re a growing team in a central and critical area within the company and we are looking for individuals who value accountability, attention to detail, and are comfortable converting big problems into smaller iterations to constantly deliver value.

 

How you’ll make an impact

  • Use research and data to discover opportunities to continuously improve the Checkout.com Identity & Access experience
  • Craft our strategy and define clear roadmaps for Identity & Access Management experiences across all Checkout.com products for merchants in all regions
  • Prioritise for impact and work with our design and engineering teams to execute on new features to a high standard
  • Partner with operations, support, and commercial teams to continuously simplify and automate how merchants to start their partnership with Checkout.com 
  • Work closely with third party providers to ensure they are able to support and deliver the highest level of service that we provide to our merchants

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • 5-7 or more years of product management experience
  • You find energy in working with customers to deeply understand their needs, and in building solutions that create value
  • You thrive on collaboration and trust as a member of an impactful team 
  • Ability to build relationships across the organisation with high levels of emotional intelligence and influence
  • You have a track record of breaking down complex problems, and of making decisions supported by data and judgement
  • Sufficient technical depth to collaborate with engineering teams on large-scale systems
  • IAM, Payments or Fintech experience is a plus
