Job Description

The role

Reporting to the Global Director of Communications, the Senior Manager of Internal Communications will create and implement global internal communications strategies and campaigns that drive awareness and understanding of our mission and business priorities. You’ll work hand-in-hand with senior leaders, business partners, and team members to create inspiring, effective, and engaging communications that drive and amplify our business priorities – both within departments and across our company.

 

How you’ll make an impact

  • Work closely with leaders across the business to provide critical communication counsel on a wide range of business, people and culture topics, including the frequency, channels and content of communications.
  • Create internal communications strategies and cascades for key internal changes.
  • Develop, write, and edit communications for executives and leaders, including talking points, emails, Frequently Asked Questions, and presentations.
  • Own the monthly All Employee Meeting - set the agenda, drive narrative development and content creation for participating senior leaders, create slide materials, and provide scriptwriting and messaging support.
  • Create scalable processes, templates and resources for rhythm-of-the-business communications such as people initiatives and product launches.
  • Work cross-functionally with the broader Communication teams to align on communication goals, channel strategy, and messaging, including reactive messaging and issue response.
  • Monitor and develop strategies to influence our employee engagement and culture.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years of professional experience in Internal Communications in a global company, ideally with experience in Change communications.
  • Ability to engage senior executives with communication counsel and support and communicate the voice of leaders.
  • Strong eye for business and an understanding of the key drivers for success across global teams within a hyper-growth technology company.
  • Excited about taking a data-driven approach to internal communications and showing progress and ROI.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment as a trusted teammate, prioritizing and balancing several projects simultaneously.
  • A natural storyteller with outstanding writing and editing skills, able to produce content rooted in our company mission, values, operating principles and objectives.
  • Experience with organizational change and communicating key initiatives across multiple internal audiences.
  • Understanding of market trends and news cycles and/or experience in corporate, digital content, social media, or public relations environments that include direct responsibility for social media support for executives.
