Job Description


Chauffeur-Privé’s platform is made of many different web applications and micro-services. Each of them has its own database and API, and uses the most relevant language and database for the use case.

We use JavaScript, Python and Go. Databases are MongoDB, PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch. Micro-services communicate together using RESTful APIs and AMQP message broker. Our current frontend frameworks are Angular and ReactJS.

Our current organisation is strongly inspired from the Scrum methodology. Each team is a polyvalent feature team, made of FullStack / DevOps / Mobile / Data Engineers accompanied by a Product Owner.

At any time each team is focused on the improvement of its dedicated business KPI. The team owns its projects until the business goals are reached. Each sprint is also composed of small quick-win features and bug fixes. Our production environment is data-driven and each development is associated to a specific and measurable metric.


Chauffeur Privé seeks a Marketing Data Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in defining our marketing strategy. You will bring data driven thought leadership to our marketing efforts by partnering with the marketing and data team by developing models and frameworks that allow us to gain insight into our customer and prospect base. You will create a sustainable framework for campaign execution and drive constant improvements in measurement of all marketing efforts. This role is part of fast paced marketing team where strong business strategy and communication skills are critical to bring data driven decisions to life.


-   Marketing Strategy & Optimization - Partner with the channel marketing team to drive strategy and planning by enabling campaign execution to improve performance : 

  • Evaluate effectiveness of marketing channel
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to drive acquisition and retention lead generation goals, including but not limited to funnel and conversion behavior, prospect segmentation, analyzing customer LTV and churn
  • Proactively find opportunities for impact, making current processes and systems more scalable

-   Measurement - Own measurement framework and methodology to ensure consistent and accurate measurement of marketing effectiveness

  • Design test and measurement plans to enable daily campaign optimization, including but not limited to A/B and multivariate testing.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions, give your opinion on important topics and organization improvements.


All technical staff must have the following prerequisites:

  • Autonomous in project delivery

  • Strong communication and empathy

  • Continuous learning mindset

  • Ability to understand the business and propose evolutions

  • A good level of English (written and spoken)

The Data Engineer position requires the following skills:

  • SQL et NoSQL : postgresql, mongoDB

  • Languages : Python, ES6

  • Packages : airflow, pandas

  • Visualization : Tableau, Caravel

  • Cloud : Heroku, Amazon AWS (EC2, RDS)

Additional experience

  • Any previous experience in a Big Data / Data Analysis environment
