Chauffeur Privé is the largest French private hire company on the French market. Our service is present in Paris, Lyon & the Côte d’Azur, and very shortly in other major European cities.
Founded 4 years ago, Chauffeur Privé connects drivers and clients via its application and website. We pride ourselves on the quality of service and product offered, and now have 13,000 drivers connected to our platform, and c.1M clients.
Chauffeur Privé has enjoyed strong growth since its launch. This was recently recognised by the Deloitte Fast 50 (which ranks the fastest growing public and private companies). We were placed first in the Internet category, 2nd in France, and 8th in Europe.
As Expansion Manager & City Launcher, your job will be to prepare and realize Chauffeur Privé’s city launches in different European cities. You will also collaborate to city pre-launch analysis and set-up. In launching the activity of Chauffeur Privé in new cities you will build and onboard the local teams, ensure both sides of the platform are optimized, while setting-up best in class methodology and processes to run the business.
This critical role requires an outstanding combination of leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, strong problem solving and analytical skills with tireless enthusiasm and outstanding interpersonal & teamwork skills.
Reporting to the CEO, your main tasks will be to:
Prepare and coordinate launches in various cities
Define and iterate on launch processes
Take ownership of Chauffeur Privé launch in various cities
Get things rolling in each market (supply and demand sides): get your hands dirty
Qualifications & personality:
Entrepreneurial spirit : you are a go-getter, a problem solver, you like getting your hands dirty, and can be efficient and and priority-oriented whilst doing so! You have no problems taking ownership of problems and finding solutions quickly
Analytical & rigorous : You are comfortable with numbers and are a good problem-solver, sloppiness makes you sick to your stomach
Communication : You can teamwork with different kinds of people (operations, marketing, senior management, drivers, event partners)
Independent/proactive: You are self-driven and are comfortable taking initiatives
Organized: You can handle multiple complex tasks over a long period of time without getting overwhelmed
Effective: You know how to narrow on the essential, and foster 80/20

You have 2-3 years experience in a top management consulting firm (+ experience in a start-up and/or entrepreneurial experience a strong plus)
You have experience of and / or strong appetite to build a new, local, addictive service from scratch
You are willing to travel and be localized for a few weeks to 2-3 month periods in different European cities
You have excellent problem structuring & solving skills
You have excellent quantitative skills
