Creative Studio Manager / Production Manager

  • Full-time

Company Description

We’re a people communications business who believes that people come first but with a big side helping of insight to prove what we do works. We’re a friendly, straight-talking bunch of experts who blend creative ideas with good old-fashioned client service to put smiles on the faces of our big name clients. We’re also a pretty exciting place to be right now - we’re growing fast and we’re busier than ever, which is why we’re looking for someone who can help keep our ever-growing creative and production workloads on track.

Job Description

As the glue that holds our internal Client Services, Strategy and Creative teams together, it’ll be your job to make sure that our creative and production workloads run smoothly, efficiently and effectively.

Day to day, you’ll manage schedules, assign and delegate tasks, liaise with external freelance resource, stay on top of our project pipeline, and keep everyone up to date with regular reports on status, capacity and more.

It’s all about improving efficiency while maximising creative output. But that’s really just the beginning. You’ll also have the freedom to get under the skin of how we work, to help find new and better ways of doing things, and to take the lead when it comes to putting those changes into action.

In other words, you won’t just be here to help us get it done for our clients: you’ll help make sure we continue building the kind of agency where we can all be our best - and do our best work, too.

Qualifications

Experience of working in a busy creative agency is essential. You might have even have a background in a similar role. Either way, you’ll already have a good understanding of what makes Client Services and Creative teams tick - and what they both need to keep pace in a busy, fast-moving, and ever-changing agency environment.

You’re also a brilliant communicator, negotiator, mediator and relationship-builder, with an ability to flex your style depending on who you’re dealing with. You’re a hands-on team player, and someone who can keep their cool when things don’t go to plan - an unflappable problem solver who can think ahead and use your initiative to manage expectations as well as priorities.

But above all, you’re the kind of person who lives for the daily challenge of making sure creative projects are delivered on time, every time.

NOTE: The Production Manager will not be responsible for crafting and delivery of any of our creative output so technical knowledge and skills are not a particular requirement for this role.
