Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the People and Culture Manager plays a critical role in cultivating an exceptional team aligned with our mission and values. This role involves close collaboration with managers to develop and implement talent strategies, organizational development, and human resources initiatives that support our business  goals. The People and Culture Manager leads all human resources activities, including recruiting A-players, managing employee growth programs, leading community service initiatives, resolving employee relations issues, and overseeing payroll and administration.

Talent Acquisition and Management

  • Define recruitment needs in collaboration with managers and establish an annual recruitment plan.
  • Support managers throughout the recruiting and selection process.
  • Develop and implement employer branding initiatives in partnership with the marketing team.
  • Oversee onboarding processes, follow up during trial periods, and enhance the integration path for new employees.
  • Build and nurture critical organizational relationships; collaborate closely with managers to structure and develop their teams.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Assist in decision-making regarding variable compensation, salary adjustments, role changes, and succession planning.

People and Culture Policy

  • Partner with managers to create and implement effective HR policies and practices that support the business’s strategic goals.
  • Foster a positive culture that aligns with the company’s values and strategy.
  • Champion initiatives to support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Employee Relations 

  • Drive and maintain effective employee relations. 
  • Resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation.

HR Administration

  • Manage all HR administrative operations including health insurance, medical checks, sick leave, employment contracts, etc.
  • Administer monthly payroll in collaboration with the accounting agency.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements for all company operations.

HR Projects and Reporting

  • Participate in HR projects and contribute to continuous improvement actions.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Business or Human Resources
  • 3+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor legislation.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a proactive approach.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to mediate conflicts.
