Job Description

We are expanding VIVANT and looking for knowledgeable and ambitious wine advisor personalities to join our team. If you have a great on-camera presence, training in wine education, and like to sell, you might be our next VIVANT!  Of course, you must also genuinely love wine. In this role, you will be one of our rockstars advisors delivering experiences on our global platform. You will educate our members about responsible wines from around the world, the producers behind the wines, and the wine regions from which the wines come; all in an entertaining format. You will also build relationships and close sales opportunities with VIP members in your territory. 

In This Role, You Will

  • Become educated and stay up-to-date on our portfolio of responsible winemakers and wine regions around the world
  • Study, train, and become certified on the VIVANT experiences platform
  • Host globally broadcasted online experiences for VIVANT members three to five times a week
  • Answer questions and respond to member inquiries following your experiences
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new sales opportunities with VIP members in your territory to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Organize and conduct in-person events with members in your territory 
  • Build and foster relationships with partners in your territory 
  • Continue to advance your wine education through ECOLE V our WSET professional wine school 

Qualifications

About You

    • Working knowledge of and passion for the wines of the world
    • University degree in marketing, business, wine or similar field
    • 2+ years of successful experience selling fine wines 
    • Excellent written and spoken English, some knowledge of French a plus 
    • Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 2+, Certified Sommelier, Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) or equivalent training
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and to liaise with a multitude of internal and external partners 
    • Highly adaptable in a fast-changing environment
    • Demonstrated ability to develop a sales pipeline and meet sales targets 
    • Proficiency in Salesforce.com or other similar CRM systems 
    • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and "get it done” mindset
