Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Proposal Coordinator and working in collaboration with the Proposal Manager, the Junior Proposal Coordinator plays a critical role in securing new projects for Chandos. This position provides assistance to the entire proposal lifecycle, from the initial go-no-go decision through to submission and follow-up.

Efficient and timely execution of these responsibilities ensures the delivery of high-quality proposals that effectively highlight the capabilities of Chandos' project teams.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Check public bid boards daily.
  • Track the full lifecycle of opportunities in CRM database.
  • Administer the go-no-go process.
  • Review request for proposal/prequalification documentation
  • Pull, assemble, and use boilerplate (where appropriate).
  • Utilize CRM database profiles and resumes.
  • Assist in the development and review of project specific content and build into proposal to increase its overall effectiveness.
  • Develop new content and boilerplate material.
  • Deliver proposal boilerplate and updated content to junior level proposal coordinator for review and storage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, business, journalism, engineering or related field.
  • Highly effective task management, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of comprehending and developing abstract concepts.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work well with others and takes direction and criticism in a positive manner.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and results oriented.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work within a deadline driven role.
  • Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Politically and culturally sensitive.
