Job Description

The main role of the Accounts Payable Clerk is the processing and payment of supplier project invoices. The accounts payable clerk provides support for the project accountants ensuring timely processing of incoming correspondence and processing of overhead related duties.

  • Process a high volume of invoice data entry
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and flag issues for review
  • Reconcile and review vendor statements
  • Respond to vendor and internal payment inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned by the AP Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Accounting student/new grad 
  • Accounts payable or other administrative work experience would be an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a larger team in a remote setting
  • Experience with Microsoft applications including word, excel and outlook
