Job Description

The formworker is responsible for setting/placing/stripping of all formed surfaces.

Required knowledge includes: construction, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control and safety.

The carpenter must be proficient at the following tasks: loose and gang form walls, suspended slab, flatwork, water retaining structures, architectural exposed, stairs, formwork, and reading blueprints. The carpenter must also possess the mathematical and analytical skills necessary to do materials estimates.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years formwork experience
  • Experienced with a large general contractor
  • Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract preferred
  • Some travel to location may be required
