Job Description

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for a secure, reliable and agile information technology environment.  Their priorities will focus around Information Cyber Security, Windows Server and O365 admin plus other related technologies.  They will be responsible for planning, installation and maintaining company resources. 

  • Manage and monitor Information Cyber Security
  • Manage Chandos VMware virtualization
  • Manage Windows Server, Active Directory and DNS MS-Exchange environment
  • Office365 administration including SharePoint, Exchange online, etc.
  • System management of Fortinet, Cisco, VPN, VoIP, VLAN, etc.
  • MS-SQL database administration
  • Plan and evolve disaster, recovery and continuity plans
  • Contribute to technician knowledgebase
  • Reinforce SLAs to manage end-user expectations
  • Provide suggestions for continual improvement
  • Alert management to emerging trends in incidents

 

Qualifications

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 5-10 years equivalent work experience
  • Certifications in MSCE, MCP, VMware, Cisco would be an asset
  • Expert knowledge of PowerShell
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning skills.
