Job Description

Champions School of Real Estate is looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer to join our online education development team in Austin, TX. This candidate will help to build and maintain functional web pages and applications to grow current company e-commerce site, as well as create and develop new market products for the real estate education industry. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a creative team in a technology-driven, fast-paced environment with the mind set of continued growth through new product offerings. Successful candidates should have extensive experience building web pages and in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and PHP.


  • 5-7 years JavaScript including jQuery/PHP programming
  • 3-5 years LAMP STACK experience
  • Excellent knowledge of CSS/HTML skills
  • Node.js and Mongo DB experience
  • Adobe Software (Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and strategies
  • Effective project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple projects/assignments
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate information clearly
  • Ability to determine appropriate methods and tools for projects
  • Creative mindset to bring forward new ideas and solutions

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify user and system requirements for company website and applications
  • Analyze user requirements, system features and functionality
  • Create multimedia solutions for company needs
  • Extend current websites offerings with new functionality
  • Write and review code for a variety of applications
  • Develop website layouts
  • Create and test website applications and software
  • Utilize advanced JavaScript techniques to deliver innovative features
  • Integration of website with LMS
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates to the websites and applications
  • Troubleshoot development and production problems on operating platforms
  • Identify and correct compatibility issues between platforms and browsers
  • Test websites on all platforms to address potential issues
  • Research various considerations for implementing new application features
  • Collaborate with project management, creative, development and marketing team members
  • Provide project updates with team members on a regular basis
  • Stay current with technology trends and software updates
  • Understand the customer, listen to feedback, and identify areas for improvement
  • Ability to prepare and plan for future projects

Additional Information

Office Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday

Candidates must be in Austin, TX area and able to commute to location

Compensation: Based on Experience + Monthly Incentive Bonus
