Centric Technologies is looking for a Senior Backend Developer for our client. In this role, you’ll get the chance to work at the bleeding edge of financial technology, alongside a small, dedicated and passionate team who are trying to change one of the biggest industries on the planet – payments. It’s a huge well-established industry, with well-established players and well-established problems – Our client have a clear vision of how to solve those problems, and they're doing it with a solution that has never been done before – you’ll be pushing boundaries.

• At least 5 years of experience in software development
• Knowledge in Golang
• Good knowledge of API design, and have plenty of experience both as a consumer and creator of API’s.
• Experience with databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Our tech stack also includes Ruby – experience in Ruby is not essential, but a desire to learn would be great.
• We’re a regulated business, so any experience working with financial products (and the compliance that involves) would be a bonus.
• We’re always looking for the best way to do things, and our tech stack will never be set in stone. Ideally you would have past experience working across a variety of languages / frameworks, and can contribute to the development of our architecture.
