Job Description

As the Consultant, HR Programs, you are supporting the HR team by implementing key deliverables. You will also develop and execute project management activities under the direction of the HR Directors. There are several people-focused talent initiatives underway. This role is a linchpin to the successful delivery across multiple workstreams.  As a connection point within the core team, you will lead and support various strategic and operational initiatives that require simultaneous changes. This includes changes to organizational culture, people, process and technology, across multiple stakeholder groups. 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Plan and implement best in class project and business as usual HR deliverables in line with program requirements 
  • Act as a positive change agent for the implementation of new company initiatives. 
  • Engage with HR, Communications Change management, and with leaders and employees throughout C1 to successful sustain meaningful change 
  • Lead end-to-end planning and implementation management of key deliverables of the HR Programs workstream including documentation, scope, timeline, and budget through regular meetings with leads to ensure alignment across all three workstreams. 

Qualifications

What you'll have:

  • 8+ years+ of business/industry work experience, with 5-8+ years of HR project or program development and implementation as well as leadership/management and/or change management experience. 
  • Ability to think conceptually and analytically, conduct effective, thorough reviews of project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ability to manage projects and team resources of considerable size and complexity through to successful completion. 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with clients, business and technical teams, and other co-workers; and adapt easily to changing priorities and business needs.  
  • Coordinates with Communications to ensure a regular cadence of communications. 
  • Excellent client management skills, ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines in a fast pace environment. Strong business acumen is required. 
  • Experience working in both internal HR roles and in consulting an asset
