    Job Description

     

    Central 1 Credit Union has an exciting employment opportunity for a compensation analyst (or HR analysts with compensation knowledge) to join our People Solutions consulting team. The People Solutions consulting team is committed to providing high quality human resources products and services in response to the needs of credit unions.

    A little bit about the role:

    This is a challenging and rewarding role; here, no two days are the same. As a member of our People Solutions external consulting team, you will provide direct support to credit unions and the consultants on our team on a diverse and varied range of services and projects in areas such as executive and staff compensation analysis, survey development and administration, psychometric assessments, recruitment. This includes research, data compilation and analysis, report preparation and client follow-ups.  The primary focus of this role is the implementation of a compensation surveys of the credit unions which is about to launch

     

     

    Qualifications

    · Post-secondary degree or completion of a Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources, working towards a CHRP a definite asset

    · Two to four years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with working knowledge of salary administration and job evaluation processes.

    · Strong analytical and organizational skills

    · Advanced computer skills using MS suite of products, and aptitude for learning and using technology to build business solutions

    · Ability to use tableau desired, a willingness to learn required

    · Solid written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate moderately complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely

    · Ability and comfort in presenting findings and interacting with clients

    · Ability to change gears quickly and manage multiple, competing priorities

    · Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

    · Collaborative team player with strong client service orientation.

    · Alignment to the values of the cooperative movement and credit union system

    · Some familiarity with the credit union system an asset
