Job Description

This role is a key part of our digital team working with UX and design experts to create compelling and innovative web and mobile products on Forge — a leading-edge digital platform that will be delivered to an established customer base of couple of million users.  

 

You’re someone who embraces change and loves to jump in and take ownership for delivering results for clients. As an iOS developer you will work collaboratively within the team to develop iOS mobile banking apps.

What you’ll do:

  • Share knowledge across the mobile iOS platforms
  • Design and implement the flexible and robust mobile app platform to support hundreds of credit unions
  • Tackle challenging technical issues
  • Work with external and internal development teams to ensure the app is delivered with a high standard of quality
  • Be innovative to adopt latest mobile technology to enrich the mobile app to meet business needs

Qualifications

About you:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to innovate, adapt and learn from mistakes
  • Experience in Swift and Object-C language
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Strong knowledge of iOS app design principles, patterns and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of iOS SDK
  • Understanding of Apple’s iOS interface guidelines
  • Familiar with git version control
  • Familiar with unit testing and automated testing on mobile platforms

 

Technical skills: Hands-on skill on unix-like OS commands, and knowledge of HTML, Javascript and other web technologies is preferred, knowledge of Backbase mobike SDK and experience manager is preferred
