Job Description

This role is a key part of our digital team working with UX and design experts to create compelling and innovative web and mobile products on Forge — a leading-edge digital platform that will be delivered to an established customer base of couple of million users.  

You’re someone who embraces change and loves to jump in and take ownership for delivering results for clients. As a lead mobile application developer you will lead the team to develop iOS and Android mobile banking apps. While you need to have expertise in iOS platform, you are expected to have basic understanding about Android development so you can guide the whole mobile squad.

What you’ll do:

  • Guide and share knowledge across the mobile OS platforms (iOS and Android)
  • Design and implement the flexible and robust mobile app platform to support hundreds of credit unions
  • Tackle challenging technical issues
  • Work with external and internal development teams to ensure the app is delivered in high quality standard
  • Be innovative to adopt latest mobile technology to enrich the mobile app to meet business needs

Qualifications

About you:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to innovate, adapt and learn from mistakes
  • Proved experience to design and implement complex mobile app
  • Understand Google’s Android UI guidelines
  • Knowledge of Android app design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of iOS SDK and iOS interface guidelines and app design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Familiar with unit test and automation test on mobile platforms
  • Knowledge of Backbase mobile SDK and experience manager is preferred

Technical skills: Hands-on skill on unix-like OS commands, knowledge of Swift and Objective-C programming language, familiarity with RESTful APIs and Git version control and knowledge of HTML, Javascript and other web technologies is preferred.
