Job Description

As an QA Analyst, you will work as part of our Agile Team, resolving issues and working with cross functional resources to make sure that our product and business stream for Central 1 will be serving its customers effectively.


You’ll be primarily accountable for:

• Conducting Build Verification, Integration and System testing in accordance with established departmental testing and documentation standards to ensure applications are reliable, function as documented and free of defects
• Creation of test plan, test cases, and test scripts
• Conducting manual testing
• Conducting automated testing using Selenium as needed
• Documenting software testing results and develops recommendations for product improvement.
• Working directly with developers, business analysts, project managers to ensure product specifications are functioning as they should be
• Recommending and assisting in the development of software testing standards, procedures, and techniques to efficiently and effectively test and evaluate products
• Assisting senior team members with testing of a complex nature to gain exposure to a variety of software development issues
• Maintaining effective bug and issue tracking in Jira through release cycles
• Providing accurate and regular reports on testing status of assigned products; detects potential delays in an assigned task at an early stage and reports to Team Lead or Manager

Qualifications

Your qualifications include:

• University degree (or equivalent combination of skills and experience) in computer science with good knowledge of SDLC
• 5+ years of relevant experience in structured test methodologies, test techniques and test processes
• Strong automation testing experience
• Adept abilities in manual testing for desktop, mobile web and mobile app channels
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization and time management skills
