Job Description

Working out of our Mississauga office, the HR Coordinator would be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to Central 1’s internal Human Resources team.

You’ll be primarily accountable for:

Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the successful incumbent will:

  • Supports the recruitment function by providing HR support; including preparation of job postings; posting jobs online; collecting resumes and scheduling/ coordinating the interview process. 
  • Completes all administrative documentation (updates HRIS, performance management system etc.) regarding new hires and status changes.
  • Conducts employee orientations for new employees, which includes an overview of conditions of employment, benefits, employee incentives, policies and procedures, and a building tour.
  • Responds to employees/management requests and enquires and provides information according to Central 1’s policies and procedures.
  • Develops and maintains administrative systems within the department.
  • Produces reports generated from our HRIS and other HR systems.
  • Assists with the coordinates of Human Resources driven events. 

Qualifications

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree, diploma or certificate in Human Resources and/or experience working in a Human Resources environment is an asset.
  • The successful candidate must be proficient with Word and at an expert level in Excel.
  • Experience with data base manipulation is essential (experience using a Human Resources Information System is an asset).
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail while working in an environment that is subject to frequent interruptions is crucial, as well as strong administrative and organizational skills; attention to detail; and excellent oral and written communication skills is required.
