Job Description

As a Legal Intern you will provide research and other legal support to the Legal and Corporate Secretary Department. This includes:

• Working closely with the Legal Department to provide research support.
• Conducting research and analysis on various legal matters as requested by a lawyer.
• Preparing memos or summaries of relevant research.

Qualifications

  • You are a law student or recent law graduate with sound research skills. You have the ability to gather, analyze and organize information from precedents and conduct research from various legislation. You also have the ability to communicate or create accurate, succinct memos or summaries from such research findings.
  • You demonstrate well-developed analytical, organizational and time-management skills in order to be successful at this role. You should also have the ability to write clearly and efficiently, and to maintain the confidential nature of your work.
  • Note: This role does not and will not contribute towards an articling position.
