Job Description

The General Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across the business. The role ensures that organizational goals are translated into effective plans and measurable results, fostering a high-performance culture that delivers growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of annual business plans, budgets, and key performance targets.
  • Translate corporate strategy into actionable operational goals with teams.
  • Support the development of and implementation of Cavista Holdings market diversification and growth strategy.
  • Identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and process improvements to enhance the company’s competitiveness and profitability.
  • Champion the development and use of KPI frameworks and performance dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with company governance, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service delivery.
  • Work with Portfolio/Business Leaders to analyze areas of improvement in the efficiency of business operations and propose appropriate action plans.

  • Promote a strong culture of performance, learning, innovation and accountability.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and ensure accountability for financial performance across teams.
  • Build and sustain relationships with investors, regulators, business partners and key external stakeholders.
  • Provide strong leadership to the Management Team, ensuring high performance, accountability and collaboration.
  • Represent the company in strategic meetings, negotiations, and public engagements.

 

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred).
    • Minimum of 12 years of senior executive experience, including at least 6 years in an executive leadership role within an investment or diversified holding company.
    • Proven record of driving multi-business growth and profitability.
    • Strong financial, strategic and analytical acumen.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Global outlook and entrepreneurial mindset.
