We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our strategy team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities and conducting in-depth analyses of data and providing actionable insights to support strategic business decisions. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and passion about driving strategic business growth. Job Description
- Conduct thorough analysis of Cavista Holdings business processes, financial data, and operational performance.
- Identify key areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize business operations and maximize profitability across all portfolio companies.
- Perform data discovery, analysis, and financial modeling to support valuation, forecasting and scenario planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and implement solutions to address business challenges.
- Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including due diligence and integration planning.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and business cases to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), business performance and identify trends.
- Support strategic planning initiatives and contribute to long-term business planning efforts in Cavista Holdings
- Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. A master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or related role within a holdings company or financial institution.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, consulting, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, perform financial modeling, and draw actionable insights.
- Experience in Business Analytics across technology, healthcare, fintech, hospitality and agribusiness industry most preferred.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI). Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence software.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels within the Group.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and holdings company business operations is a plus.
