Project Description: They have recently implemented Salesforce and are looking for a young, eager, intelligent, and motivated person to come help with day to growth of the Salesforce platform. Person will be in a fast paced environment where someone who is willing to learn and work hard, will go as far as they like. Looking for a recent grad with a technical, engineering, or analytical background. 

The Job:

The Company’s entire business – Inventory Control, Financial Accounting, Customer Relationship Management, Marketing, etc. – runs on a single, integrated Salesforce.com implementation. The implementation is a work in progress and every time we roll out a new feature, the Company becomes more efficient and your colleagues’ workdays get a little better. 

You will report directly to a senior manager of / partner in the business. Your manager doesn’t believe in endless meetings – above all else, he values autonomy, problem solving and getting your work done. You will learn by doing – the Salesforce platform is beast of a product that overwhelms at first and becomes clearer through hands-on experience. You will wear many hats, as all good Product Managers and Business Analysts do. You will interact with our users to gain understanding of what they need to do their jobs. You will design solutions, write specs, create mockups, and communicate them to development team. You will test the developer’s work and provide feedback. You will validate that the feature meets functional requirements. You will support rollout, train users, and log bugs. We are an agile team – every team member is given the opportunity to own sprints and features. It’s worth repeating – you will own your work. 

All of this will take time. You will need to learn our business, the Salesforce platform, and our implementation before you can accomplish all or any of this. While you learn, you’ll help with some of the more mundane tasks associated with any Salesforce implementation: data management, training, support, and basic administration. As you learn and grow over time, you will be given as much responsibility as you ask for.
