Job Description

Participate in IT projects to analyze complex architecture and configurations and devise (and implement as required) appropriate security architecture and strategy.
Work with owners of Internet and distributed systems for establishing their system security architecture, strategy, policies and procedures according to best practices and corporate security policies with guidance from senior IT security analysts.
Work with business units, technical units, and vendors on data security considerations, architectures, implementations, policies, strategies, and standards, and works closely with each to ensure appropriate data security is implemented across all platforms.
Maintain departmental procedures.
Participate in the On-call rotation for the department.

Qualifications

Must know Windows or UNIX platforms including security architecture and administration (installation, configuration, administration).
Must possess an understanding of designing and/or administering secure solutions.
Must understand Internet architectures, methodologies, and processes including set-up and configuration of public (untrusted) and trusted networks utilizing routers, firewalls, and proxies and how security is employed in these areas. This should include at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
