Job Description
The Role:
Our client is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to take on the challenge of achieving
significant efficiencies through the re-engineering of their logistics & supply chain processes. The
role is based in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a new position with a core focus on integrating all supply
chain business synergies and streamlining processes and procedures ensuring the smooth
transition of materials to the manufacturers and delivery of finished goods to the customers on
time.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage team performance and goals and ensure teams meet business operational
expectations and performance standards. Plan and supervise the workflow to ensure the
best practice in Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning Logistics processes. Encourage and
solicit input from staff and ensure their suggestions and concerns are addressed. Monitor
and evaluate supply chain employees in terms of performance, delivery of objectives and
supporting their development
Manage paper supply chain, negotiation, buying, and transportation and warehousing of
paper process, monitor inventory and cost management within agreed objectives and
budget.
Analyze business requirements and design solutions in the area of Purchase department.
Oversee purchases, maintenance and service contract negotiations. Manage testing and
implementation of products to ensure seamless integration and minimize loss of production.
Prioritize requests from internal customers and ensure they are handled efficiently.
Monitor and ensure safe work practice/workplace.
Monitor as well as control procurement, logistics and operational costs to be with agreed
budget.
Drive a continuous improvement culture, (a) Developing people, (b) Supporting operational
excellence, (c) Improving efficiency, (d) Improving the quality of service (e) Improving OTIF,
(f) reduce cost of supply chain and (g) Reducing waste.
Ensure the implementation of logistics fundamentals i.e. warehousing, distribution
operations /transportation and replenishment. Lead the logistics team into achieving
assigned target on a daily, weekly & monthly basis.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Ideally a graduate; Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent.
Minimum of 7 years in a Senior Supply Chain Management post, within Corrugated
Packaging industry.
Knowledge of and experience in using cutting edge systems and technology to achieve
efficiencies.
Able to manage a complex operation and achieve results.
Strong leader and communicator with ability to manage effectively in a multi-cultural
environment.
Experience in Saudi Arabia an advantage – Arabic language useful but not essential.
