Job Description

As Assistant Director of Communications, you will be part of an energetic and impactful team with a fun but hardworking culture. You’ll work with colleagues across the range of Catch22 hubs and services to deliver first-class communications support and evolve our communications strategy.

Reporting to the Director of External Affairs Partnerships, you will oversee our Marketing, Digital and Social Media, Design and Internal Communications functions. Your role will be focused on supporting senior staff within the communications team to align activity and plans so they meet Catch22’s Communications and wider organisational goals.

You will also ensure your team have the skills and support to find creative solutions to communications challenges both internally and externally, deliver excellent customer service and ensure colleagues are actively engaged in Catch22’s work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Strong knowledge of the range of communications disciplines – including internal communications, marketing, digital and social media and media relations
  • Proven ability to deliver effective communications strategies.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate the impact of communications work, through agreed metrics
  • Ability to lead teams, inspire them to pursue a vision and deliver against targets
  • Ability to translate strategic vision with clear targets and measures of success

Salary: £57,200 per year

Contract: Permanent

Location: This role will be based from our Head Office (27 Pear Tree Street, London). You'll need to be in the office at least one day a week.

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
