Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day system administration and development of our integrated HR and Payroll system, iTrent whilst providing support and guidance to managers and staff on the effective utilisation of the system. Additionally, you will also support with the administration of any other HR systems such as SmartRecruiters Applicant Tracking system, Business Objects, the Reward Gateway, and any other systems required by the People Team.

You will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all systems related enquiries.
  • Provide support on the effective management of the HR system by ensuring all organisational level system changes to processes are clearly documented.
  • Manage user account/role set up, maintenance and control across various HR systems.
  • Maintain security across the HR systems – ensuring any changes or creation of new security profiles work (i.e. are tested following any build or maintenance)
  • Support with the performance of system upgrades, patches, and fixes.

Qualifications

Essential criteria:

  • Must be PC-literate and self-sufficient in the Microsoft 'Office' suite of products, in particular Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of working with and maintaining HR and Payroll systems (iTrent)
  • Experience of providing help/support and technical guidance on HR systems to Users
  • Knowledge of HR databases and business intelligence reporting tools
  • Knowledge of HR and/or Payroll
  • Excellent communication skills including ability to convey complex technical information to a range of audiences
  • Pro-active, customer-focused, and solutions-oriented
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a systematic manner, organising own workload to meet deadlines and maintaining accurate records

Additional Information

This role is permanent and part time, 25 hours per week to be worked across 4 or 5 days.

Salary is £23,000 per annum, which equates to £15,540.54 pro rata for 25 hours.

We can offer hybrid working in this role, between the office and home-based. Training will take place in the Brasted office, following that you will be required to work from the Brasted office at least one day a week. Equipment required to work from home will be supplied.
