Commissioned by Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), Nottinghamshire Victim CARE is a free and confidential service available to all victims of crime and anti-social behaviour across Nottinghamshire. The service supports Victims and survivors to be resilient and in doing so are less likely to be re-victimised; empowered to cope and recover from crime and anti-social behaviour by timely and effective victim-centred support from local services, families and communities.

Job Description

As an Engagement Officer you will undertake the development and relationship management of all partners, statutory, third sector and voluntary organisations that can assist in the effective delivery of the service – specifically in relation to the Victim CARE Community Point programme.

This will be achieved by building on existing and new relationships with key stakeholders and delivery partners to expand the range and quality of provision for victims across our locale. 

It will be essential for you to collaborate with existing and new partners to identify organisations for support and work with them to deliver, monitor and evaluate any work undertaken as a result of the partnership.Engagement Officer JD and Person Specification

Qualifications

As the Engagement Officer with responsibility for the developing relationships with our partners and stakeholders, you will have a great opportunity broaden the range of organizations we work with and help us to develop our brand within the community.   Good will look like the following:

Additional Information

Salary: £21,000 per annum

Our service is open from 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm Saturday. There may be some requirement to work flexibly across these opening hours from time to time. 

This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.
