Are you interested in working for a charity and social business where you can make a difference both professionally and socially? Are you passionate about the full communications mix (media outreach, digital and social media, thought leadership, internal communications and marketing materials) and their ability to influence?
We are looking for a thoughtful and creative Communications Manager to join the Communications Team at Catch22. You will be responsible for promoting Catch22’s work across our operational delivery, supporting over 25 brands independently, and fostering a culture of ambassadorship throughout our people. Our work builds a better society - one where everyone has good people around them, a purpose, and a good place to live.
Working with the wider Communications and Development Team, and reporting to the Director of Communications and Engagement, you will collaborate with our operational and development teams to ensure that Catch22 is known about by those with the power and ability to change lives for our service users
Main responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering online and offline communications campaigns
- Acting as the first point of contact for national, local and trade media inquiries
- Working with our operational directors to support their communications needs
- Media training the broader organisation, supporting our colleagues to be effective
- Creating digital and social media content, working with our Digital Communications Officer and Designer
- Managing tools that help us understand how effective our marketing is
- Contributing to the planning of and delivering all digital elements of Catch22's marketing campaigns, including email marketing, advertising, seeding content and social media campaigns.
- Some internal communications work, including creating content and supporting Workplace, our internal communications platform, and support at InspirED, our annual colleague conference.

- At least 3 years experience working in communications, either for a charity or a business
- Experience working in a press office or media team
- A creative mind, able to think quickly and come up with inventive solutions
- Knowledge of up-to-date communications and marketing tools, such as email marketing tools, social media analytics tools, reporting tools and other software that ensures our communications and marketing can be targeted, monitored and improved
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally with all stakeholders
- Some understanding of the areas of social justice that we work in would be advantageous
- To be collaborative and curious
