Job Description
The Associate Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of client relationships and search marketing initiatives. This includes assisting in the execution of search marketing strategies based on a client's business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create, manage and execute search marketing plans that meet client goals
- Create and gain client approval on insertion orders and campaign strategies
- Work with Catalyst’s internal resources and processes to ensure that client’s expectations are adequately set and met
- Oversee and deliver on Account Management business processes
- Forecast and generate revenue opportunities
- Scope and develop new business with companies looking to utilize search marketing
- Seeks to ensure that all client opportunities are addressed, ensuring that the relationship is healthy and lasting
- Seeks to ensure clients are informed of the company’s offerings and are kept up to date with the company’s activities
- Develop a high level of search engine marketing expertise and a reputation for innovation and efficiency
- Attend in-house training in sales, marketing and technology
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments in search engine marketing, digital marketing and consumer behaviour and recommend applicable improvements to accounts

Qualifications
Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant college certificate
- Minimum one year of paid search experience and/or digital marketing management
- Experience using search advertising platforms (Google AdWords, Bing Ads)
- Experience with analytical tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends, Omniture)
- Experience with Bid Management tools (DoubleClick & Searchlight)
- Ability to interact in a professional manner and deal with clients face-to-face
- High level of technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
