Scrum Master / PM

  • Full-time

Company Description

We are building smart solutions for backup and recovery for all kinds of enterprises. We’re in Data Protection market for over 20 years and we are known for taking our customers' data safety seriously (we have U.S. Patents and a super high customer satisfaction ratio to prove it!😁).

Job Description

What's the job?

The position of an Scrum Master is open in DPX (Enterprise Data Protection) team that is working on implementing support for features that were so far only available in legacy Java GUI, implementing new functionalities around virtual infrastructure, physical infrastructure, and early Ransomware Detection features. You will be a part of a team that is working in a startup-like atmosphere from the US and Poland.

We want you to help our team to achieve its sprint goals by facilitating Scrum ceremonies but also removing obstacles like unclear requirements, missing information, or missing resources. You will need to work with the international Product Owners team to make sure the right requirements are in place and properly prioritized. We value common sense over blind following “best practices”, so you will have opportunity to adjust / fine tune the process if needed.

We use JIRA & Confluence for tasks and scrum boards, FigJam/Figma for flows and mockups.

The development team is in Poland and US.

What you will do:

  • First of all, work in a friendly, elastic, and supportive environment, where having great fun and doing a great job is becoming the same thing

  • Work with developers, help them deal with backlog, planning and refinements

  • Work with Product Owner(s) and help them translate business feature requests to something developers will understand

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies

  • Change, experiment and try to find the most reasonable way of doing things

Qualifications

It’s great if you have:

  • At least 2 years of experience with Scrum / Agile;

  • Good understanding of Agile Project Management / Methodologies;

  • Patience ;)

  • Good communication skills

  • Passion for solving problems, willingness to learn stuff

Our team has experienced architects, developers, PMs that are happy to share their knowledge and explain why things are done in a given way, and happy to listen if you think otherwise J So, if you are a self-motivated, result-driven individual with a good sense of detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and you are looking for a role in an organization that is working on an ambitious project, with innovative technologies and where people have an actual impact on the direction of the product - that role is for you!
