As Developer Advocate for, you will be in the thick of things! You will:

• Build and cultivate an external ‘community ecosystem’ that amplify messages and extend reach
• Conduct design review of business applications and product and provide the recommendations to raise the levels of engineering and architecture excellence.
• Build Proof of Concepts and reference architectures to accelerate the usage of cloud platform and products.
• Write technical blogs and articles to share best practices, promote reuse and raise awareness.
• Understand and synthesize feedback in order to drive continuous improvement to Catalogic’s Cloud Platform products and the overall platform experience.
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to define product strategies and craft narratives around new products and features.
• Participate in relevant technical communities as a practitioner to gain a deep understanding of that community’s needs, including input on design discussions, customer zero testing, launch, and post-launch updates.
• Advocate for community internally and help influence Catalogic’s product strategy by working with Product Management, Engineering, PR, Marketing, Business Development, and other cross-functional teams
• Work with application developers, DevOps Engineers and Solution Architects to support them design, build and deploy applications.
• Advise recommended platform products and technologies to application engineering teams based on their requirements.

• 5 years of experience as a technical practitioner developing, delivering, or securing applications/ systems
• Experience in consulting and advising customers with cloud technologies.
• Experience as a Software Developer, Architect, Technical Advocate, Consultant, Community/Product Manager or Consultant working with various platforms.         
• Experience with blogging and writing technical articles for an existing follower base, and speaking at technology conferences.
• Experience contributing to an open-source project
• Helping companies and users achieve successful on-boarding to the Cloud Native ecosystem.
• Experience with software and product development lifecycle (incl. coding, coding standards and reviews, source control, testing, debugging, build, deployment and operations

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience in presenting ideas, papers, patents to varied audiences
• 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of software products on cloud technologies and platforms.
• Prior Experience in one more roles such as Software Developer, Architect, Technical Advocate, technical community manager.
• Experience working in global teams and stakeholder management.
• Can quickly form strong working relationships with colleagues within and outside your location.
