We are looking for an expert Linux Kernel Engineer with filesystem knowledge especially on ZFS to work on our next gen storage appliance based on zfs and ceph. The ideal candidate is expected to work with our lead experts in that area to design new features especially around incremental cloud offload, erasure coding, scale-out, deduplication, replication etc.  The ideal candidate will also assist with root cause analysis and resolution of kernel driver related issues.

• Extensive experience with developing filesystem drivers/ kernel components preferably with ZFS or CEPH.
• Solid understanding with general storage protocols – iSCSI, FC, NFS, CIFS
• Solid understanding with storage datapath susbsystems – md RAID, Block, SCSI/SAS, NVMe
• Solid understanding of Linux Clustering/Scale out technologies
• Excellent communication skills
